Having complex care needs should not prevent you from living in the comfort of your home. Glorycrown provides support for people with Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Spinal Cord injuries, Brain Injuries offering independence for clients and support for the family.
The carers are competent and trained in the skills required to effectively support service users.
Palliative and End of Life Care
Coping with a terminal condition can be a difficult and painful time for everyone. At Glorycrown, we are committed to delivering a sensitive and caring service that enables our Clients to remain comfortable and supported in their own home, surrounded by their loved ones.
Our dedicated Nurses are specially trained to support those with terminal conditions and work closely with the relevant health care professionals to ensure you receive the best possible care.
We ensure a small team of care staff provide compassionate end of life support that is tailored to the individual needs of our Clients and their families; providing assistance with personal care and/or practical tasks, focussing on:
- Maintaining dignity
- Supporting Customers to be comfortable at all times
- Assisting with pain management
- Empowering our Customers to have control about how and where their care is provided
- Delivery of sensitive person-centred care that supports the wishes and aspirations of our Customers and their loved ones.
End of Life Care is carried out under the full guidance and instruction of your clinical and medical professionals
